STN5-ISOF
®
A 5-port output NMEA 0183 buffer distributor from a single opto-isolated input port.
The optically isolated input accepts any NMEA 0183 talker and equally distributes to 5 output ports. The outputs are fixed in RS-422/RS-485 which are full galvanic isolation between input port, DC voltage power supply, and ground. Each of the 5 output port is galvanically isolated from each other creating a secluded island on its own of full isolation which we call and register as ISOF technology.
Wide range supply voltage with electronic cut-out resettable fuse-a non-mechanical cutout switch. The enclosure mounting options either through screws or DIN-rail. Easy connectivity in a fully exposed screwless terminal block thereby eliminating opening enclosure cover to terminate cables.
Added functionality for navigators during night navigation to remove the light distraction from output ports LED indicators when this unit installed prominently in the bridge navigation area.

STN11USB
A single port NMEA 0183 to USB converter cable.
This is not an ordinary serial cable but specifically designed in adherance to NMEA requirements.
A single opto-isolated input accepts any NMEA 0183 serial data and converts into USB data for processing in laptop/desktop computer or mobile phone. Optical isolation protects from spurious unknown serial signal which can go as high as +-15VDC.
Output signal is fixed at NMEA 0183 IEC6111-1/2 data format.
STN11USB intended application are for reception, quick testing, evaluation, and diagnosis of NMEA 0183 data stream to view the packets and determine the signal integrity. Another applicaton is for simulation of NMEA 0183 data streams for transmission and injection into the NMEA data communication system using simulation software from laptop/desktop computer and mobile phone devices.

Automatic Identification System (AIS) pilot plug to USB converter cable.
Not an ordinary off the shelves type of converter cable but designed specifically to adhere to NMEA opto-isolation input and IEC-66112-2 output for AIS.
STN11USB-PP foremost intended application is for interfacing of AIS to a laptop/desktop computer based ship navigation chart plotter /Electronic Chart System (ECS) softwares.
Another applicaton is for reception, quick testing, evaluation, and diagnosis of AIS pilot plug data stream to view the packets and determine the signal integrity via a serial terminal software in laptop/desktop computer and mobile phone devices.
